Marsha is the Team Commander and a founding member of WK9SAR. Her search specialties include tracking/trailing, air scent, and cadaver searches.
Liz has been active in SAR work since she joined West Virginia K-9 Search & Rescue in 1997 with her previous search dog, Nemo. She has been a member of WK9SAR since 2002. Her search specialties include tracking/trailing and air scent searches, and she has completed training in:
- First Aid & CPR
- Navigation & Search Strategies
- Lost Person Behavior
- Crime Scene Preservation
- Canine First Aid
- Incident Command System (FEMA IS100, IS200, IS700, IS800)
Lara joined WK9SAR in June 2007. She is qualified as field support and has nearly completed Radar's certification in tracking/trailing and air scent. Her training includes:
- NREMT EMT-B
- Michigan Firefighter I & II
- Incident Command System (FEMA IS100)
- Hazmat Operations
- Canine Emergency Medical Care (DHS)
- Crime Scene Preservation
- Police K9 Trainer Intern
